    Founded as a gallery in Hamburg, Germany in 1964, Neuendorf exhibited and was instrumental in developing the artistic legacies of renowned artists including Georg Baselitz, Lucio Fontana, David Hockney, Francis Picabia, Cy Twombly, Ed Ruscha, and other influential artists. Throughout the 1970s to the 1990s it was known as one of the premier contemporary art galleries in Europe. 

     

    Today, the business operates as a prominent private dealer and advisor based in New York. In 2022 a residency was established at the John Pawson and Claudio Silvestrin designed Neuendorf House in Mallorca, Spain.
